Which Areas do you cover?
I am based in South East London SE6, and will travel in and around London and Greater London. I am happy to travel further afield depending on number of people whereby travel costs will be incurred.
Do I have to have a trial?
I do recommend a trial for the bride about 6 to 10 weeks beforehand (subject to availability). Alternatively, if you are happy to go ahead with my services without a trial, then images of the type of look you require and photos of yourself beforehand would be extremely helpful.
Remember there are certain times of the year that are very popular, so book your trial early to avoid disappointment. Alternatively if you’re going away to be married, then a lesson can be arranged.
How long does the trial take?
There is no time limit on a trial, although they usually take around 3 hours. My main objective is that you are happy with the result.
Please have no makeup on or product in hair. If possible wear a colour similar to your dress.
Is a deposit required?
If you are happy with the results following the trial, a £150 non refundable deposit will secure the booking for the wedding day and be deducted from the final balance.
Trials for bridesmaid and mums are also available.
What Products do you use?
I use a wide range of products including Dior, Shu Uemura, Bobbi Brown, Mac, Channel, Benefit and other known brands, as well as professional products. Please let me know in advance if you have any allergies and I will plan for this.
Will I need to retouch my makeup throughout the day?
You’re makeup will last into the evening, however in certain hot atmospheres you may have to use a blotting paper or a little translucent powder. Lipstick will have to be re applied after all that kissing, eating, and drinking! I will supply you with a small amount of the lipstick I use to retouch. Alternatively you can use your own lipstick.
What happens if for any reason you cannot be there on the day?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will endeavour to find another equally skilled hair/makeup artist. I have many colleagues whom I can depend on should a situation arise. Photographs and notes are taken at the trial should someone else have to step in. Otherwise a full refund will be given.
